Google has launched its enhanced Find My Device network in the U.S. and Canada.
The service utilizes over a billion Android devices to help locate misplaced items.
Compatible with Android 9+ devices, Pixel 8 and 8 Pro, and will soon support Bluetooth trackers.
Find My Device will be available via the Google Play Store and can locate items with help from Nest devices.
The network features end-to-end encryption and is part of the Android security vulnerability rewards program.
The rollout is global, addressing stalking concerns and enhancing security for locating personal belongings.
