AMD Expands CPU Lineup with New Zen 4 and Zen 5 Processors, Including South Korea Exclusives
September 17, 2025
AMD has introduced a new lineup of CPUs, including Zen 4-based models like the Ryzen 5 7400 and 7400F, which are currently exclusive to South Korea and feature 6 cores and 12 threads, with the 7400 offering integrated RDNA 2 graphics.
The lineup also includes the Ryzen 7 9700F, an 8-core, 16-thread processor with high clock speeds supported by TSMC's 4nm process, but it lacks integrated graphics.
Additionally, AMD offers the Zen 3-based Ryzen 5 5600F, a 6-core, 12-thread CPU with no integrated GPU, priced around $138, aligning with the other models in the series.
A new Zen 5 CPU, the Ryzen 5 9500F, with 6 cores and 12 threads, is now available globally, including South Korea, and is the slowest in the Ryzen 9000 series, priced at approximately $204.
This expansion includes processors based on Zen 4, Zen 3, and Zen 5 architectures, reflecting AMD's broadening of its CPU offerings.
Support for these new processors is confirmed on AMD-compatible motherboards, though BIOS updates are required for full compatibility.
The Ryzen 7 9700F is currently listed only on AMD's China website, with an expected price range of $250 to $290, and support from Asrock's 600- and 800-series motherboards.
