Huawei hints at an imminent China launch for the Watch Ultimate 2, after the company's Innovation Research app update added connectivity with the new wearable.

Historically, Huawei releases flagship devices in a staggered fashion, suggesting the Watch Ultimate 2 could follow a similar rollout alongside other big launches.

Although Huawei hasn’t fixed a launch date for the Mate 80 series, rumors point to a possible unveiling on November 18, which could coincide with the Watch Ultimate 2’s appearance on stage.

The Innovation Research app, now at version 1.1.10.300, expands health features and is capable of connecting to the new wearable, including enhanced health analytics and emotional research tools.

The Watch Ultimate 2 is already available globally, with a probable debut in China in the coming weeks.
