Manor Lords, a medieval city-building strategy game by solo developer Greg Styczeń, has reached over 164,484 concurrent players on Steam.
The game has become the #1 top-selling game on Steam and is rated 'Very Positive' by players.
Using Unreal Engine and an Epic MegaGrant, Styczeń was able to work full-time on the game and hire freelance artists.
Manor Lords offers a gridless city-building experience with an emphasis on balancing fun and realism in its RTS gameplay.
It's currently on sale for $30, a 25% discount, with plans for an Xbox version and addressing gameplay issues like archer balancing.
The game is in early access, expected to last about a year, and offers three scenario templates for different playstyles, without mid-game setting changes.
