Blizzard unveiled the highly anticipated Diablo 4 expansion, Vessel of Hatred.

The expansion introduces the Spiritborn class, a dexterity-focused warrior from the Nahantu region.

Spiritborn can summon four god-like Spirit Guardians: a jaguar for ferocity, a gorilla for protection, a giant eagle for movement, and a centipede for crowd control.

The expansion is titled 'Neyrelle and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day' and will launch on October 8 for $40.

A new class mechanic called Spirit Hall allows players to mix and match skills for flexibility.

Despite some initial disappointment over the absence of a Paladin class, the Spiritborn's creativity and versatility provide an exciting alternative.
