Elden Ring Update 1.13: Major Buffs, Balance Tweaks, and Improved Gameplay Features
July 30, 2024
A new update for Elden Ring, version 1.13, has been released across all platforms, introducing significant balance adjustments and enhancements to Spirit Ashes.
The patch includes a variety of buffs for skills, armaments, spells, incantations, and Ashes of War, enhancing gameplay for all players.
Notably, the patch includes buffs to weapons, spells, incantations, Ashes of War, and Spirit Summons, while nerfing some of the most dominant abilities.
Specific armaments such as the Repeating Crossbow and Shield of Night have seen enhancements to their attack power and damage negation.
Boosted stats for summonable NPCs, including Needle Knight Leda and Pureblood Knight Ansbach, were also included in the patch.
Adjustments have been made to the placement of NPC summon signs in certain boss arenas to improve the gameplay experience.
A significant fix in the patch allows players to re-summon their spectral steed, Torrent, more efficiently after it dies.
While this change is significant, some players hoped for an automatic revival feature that would consume an Estus Flask without a confirmation prompt.
Despite the recent patch, the missing credits issue remains unresolved, but the developer confirmed it will be corrected in the next update.
Elden Ring has sold 25 million copies, solidifying its status as one of the biggest video games in recent years.
