Outright Games, in collaboration with Hasbro, has unveiled a character reveal trailer for the upcoming video game TRANSFORMERS: Galactic Trials.

Each character is equipped with two unique skills and eight customizable weapons tailored for racing.

Players can engage in a single-player mode known as Galactic Trials or compete in a local multiplayer Arcade Mode for a more competitive racing experience.

The trailer features 11 playable characters, showcasing both Autobots like Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Elita-1, Wheeljack, and Arcee, and Decepticons including Megatron, Shockwave, Flamewar, Soundwave, Nightbird, and Nemesis Prime.

Players will begin with iconic characters such as Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Megatron, with the ability to unlock additional characters as they progress.

Highlighted abilities in the game include Optimus Prime’s gravitational axe throw and Bumblebee’s plasma stings.

Stephanie Malham, Managing Director at Outright Games, expressed her excitement for players to experience the game’s thrilling action and racing elements.

Since its launch in 1984, the TRANSFORMERS brand has expanded significantly, influencing films, television, comics, and video games.

The game’s release is particularly significant as it coincides with the 40th anniversary of the TRANSFORMERS franchise, which has evolved from a toy line into a global phenomenon across various media.

TRANSFORMERS: Galactic Trials offers a rogue-lite racing experience where players aim to recover powerful Prime Relics from the villain Nemesis Prime.

The game is set to launch on multiple platforms, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam, starting October 11, 2024.
