While the PS5 Pro retains the same 8-core, 16-thread AMD Ryzen Zen 2 CPU as its predecessor, it boasts a significantly upgraded GPU, increasing from 10.28 teraflops to 16.7 teraflops.

The PS5 Pro is set at a price of $699, which marks a $300 increase compared to the launch price of the PS5 Digital Edition in 2020.

This new console features 16GB of dedicated GDDR6 VRAM and 2GB of DDR5 RAM, enhancing its memory capabilities compared to the original PS5.

The PS5 Pro will support advanced graphics features, including ray tracing, AI-powered upscaling, and higher framerates of 60Hz or 120Hz.

Sony has officially announced the PlayStation 5 Pro, unveiling the console on November 30, 2024, alongside a promise of enhancements for over 50 games.
