F1 25 Update 1.25, released on September 7, 2026, adds the full 2026 FIA Formula 2 Championship to F1 25 and introduces a 2026 Sports Update for the F1 grid, along with visual tweaks, liveries, and hardware improvements.

The update also brings updated 2026 F1 cars, drivers, liveries, sponsor details, and several Special Edition Liveries obtainable through in-game News and Mail.

This patch is part of an ongoing patch cycle for the 2026 content and is distinct from the June 3, 2026 F1 25: 2026 Season Edition launch.

General stability and UI improvements are noted, with more patch notes to come in future updates.

Graphical and physics adjustments enhance realism and stability, including updated steering wheel components for specific drivers, revised suspension visuals, and corrected trackside barriers in Australia.

Additional fixes address sponsor livery overlaps, updated rev light patterns, steering wheel alignment for 2026 Red Bull, front suspension visuals on 2026 Aston Martin and Haas, and trackside barrier corrections at Australia.

Gameplay and regulation updates introduce Boost Mode with limited deploy in wet conditions, updated Straight Mode and DRS behavior, and timing corrections for the Overtake Enabled Race Control message with 2026 cars.

In line with 2026 regulations, Boost Mode operates in wet conditions with reduced power, and Straight Mode/DRS activation now depends on throttle input exceeding 90%.

Game update V1.25 also brings several technical changes, tying wet-condition Boost mode, Straight Mode, and DRS timing to 2026 F1 car behavior.

Special edition liveries for Racing Bulls, Audi, and Cadillac are available through mid-October, with additional liveries released via in-game mail on specific September dates.

Career Mode receives fixes including updated 2026 tyre allocations, improved recognition for completing an F2 season before an F1 season, corrected team selection recognition, and enhancements to Accolades display, sponsor livery placement, Pitcoin visibility, and interface stability.

Wheel and hardware support improvements include better input-to-physics matching and stability fixes for Moza, Simucube, and other Simagic-related hardware, along with expanded support for various wheels and pedals.
