Ninja Kiwi debuts Bloons Monkey Tales, an animated YouTube series derived from Bloons TD 6, shifting the focus to the Monkeys’ personalities and adventures as part of a deeper lore expansion.

Bloons Monkey Tales is now available on Ninja Kiwi’s YouTube channel, kicking off a broader storytelling effort tied to the Bloons universe.

The Bloons franchise sustains a huge fanbase with billions of gameplay sessions and substantial Twitch view time, helping justify an expansion into animation.

Ninja Kiwi CEO Scott Walker describes the series as a deeper exploration of the Monkeys’ lives and lore expansion beyond the games.

Ninja Kiwi, founded in 2006 and headquartered in Auckland with a Dundee studio, has over 150 million downloads and is known for Bloons TD 6, Bloons Blitz, and SAS: Zombie Assault 4.

The series features returning voice actors, introduces new voice talents, and includes cameos from two popular Bloons YouTubers, with new three-minute episodes releasing every Saturday.

The first episode is on YouTube, with subsequent episodes and additional shorts planned to release on Saturdays starting October 24, and will be cross-promoted on TikTok, Instagram, Bluesky, X, and Facebook.

Bloons Monkey Tales marks a broader storytelling effort from Ninja Kiwi, focusing on character backstories and relationships while maintaining ties to the franchise’s world.
