KingMidas Games has joined Yggdrasil’s YGG Masters program to accelerate game development and expand its international reach using Game in a Box technology.

Sargis Khachatryan, global commercial director of KingMidas Games, says the focus is on emotionally resonant, distinctive experiences and views Yggdrasil as a strategic partner for innovation and global reach.

KingMidas Games brings a portfolio of more than 150 titles and collaborations with Japanese IP holders, enriching YGG Masters’ partner network with diverse content and recognizable IP.

The partnership gives KingMidas Games greater control over production, including adjustable mechanics, reworked math models, and server-side logic to test gameplay directions and speed up launches.

Zoe Bird, head of YGG Masters, welcomes KingMidas Games and highlights their distinctive gameplay and Japanese IP collaborations, anticipating collaboration on development and the launch of their first title within the programme.

The collaboration aims to leverage Yggdrasil’s technology, commercial support, and a distribution network of over 2,000 brands to accelerate delivery of distinctive content and enter new markets.
