Duck Side of the Moon lands on PlayStation 5 on November 17, and a major free Homegrown update arrives across all platforms, adding gardening, spaceship customization, new adventures, and more.

The game, described as a cozy open-world crafting and exploration adventure starring Doug the duck, emphasizes relaxation, space gardening, and a non-hostile, welcoming world.

In the update, spaceship customization expands further, letting players collect chromas and personalize furniture and walls to shape their ship.

Duck Side of the Moon is already available on PC and Switch and has a short, charming narrative that PC reviewers have praised.

The press kit and outreach materials include a request form for codes, a Steam page link, and a press kit to facilitate media coverage.

The game is wishlistable on the PlayStation Store, with a likely price around $19.99 based on Steam pricing.

Gameplay centers on exploring, gathering materials, and crafting to repair the ship and return home, guided by friendly alien helpers in a non-hostile world.

Originally, Duck Side of the Moon launched on Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) on May 7.

The announcement highlights expanding the cozy universe and adding more ways to personalize space and the gameplay experience.

The Homegrown update is designed for players who’ve finished the base game, letting them load existing saves to access the new content.

New adventures, characters, and explored areas expand the cozy universe, with a mid-point unlock to reach new content.

Core gameplay remains: explore a cozy galaxy, gather materials, craft gadgets, upgrade and customize a crashed spaceship into a home, meet helpful locals (including talking rocks), and enjoy a quirky quack button.
