GTA VI preload for PS5 will go live on Tuesday, November 10, ahead of the November 19 game launch.

The narrative centers on Jason and Lucia, a criminal couple who, after a failed heist, become entangled in a conspiracy across the state of Leonida, forcing them to rely on each other to survive.

The official description emphasizes Jason and Lucia as the two main characters operating within a heist-driven plot that sprawls across Leonida.

GTA 6 features the largest map in the franchise’s history and offers diverse side activities across Leonida, including airboating, jumping, kayaking, gym workouts, and various races.

Standard Edition is priced at $79.99 and Ultimate Edition at $99.99; preordering either edition through the PS Store includes a bonus 1-month GTA+ subscription.

A preorder is required to preload the game, and players must have at least 212 GB of storage space.

Rockstar will release a free printable GTA VI map and cover art poster (Leonida map) on November 19; physical maps are not included with boxed versions and can be purchased for $0.99 or received free with any Rockstar Store purchase.

The global launch date is November 19, 2026, with availability on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Rockstar updated the GTA 6 pre-load start date to November 10, 2026, from the previously announced November 12.

Pre-load will begin for PlayStation 5 at midnight local time and for Xbox Series X|S at 12 a.m. GMT on November 10, 2026, with an estimated install size of up to 212 GB depending on the console.
