At the Cannes Film Festival, Intelliflicks, in collaboration with Hollywood producer Tony DeRosa-Grund and Visual Alchemy LLC, has launched its first film slate powered by Generative AI technology.

This innovative studio is focused on creating a cinematic pipeline that relies entirely on AI, aiming to democratize the filmmaking process for smaller studios and independent creators.

By leveraging AI, Intelliflicks seeks to minimize development risks and costs, offering a quicker route to profitability within the competitive film industry.

The newly announced film slate features five diverse projects, including 'Stoker', 'End of the Rainbow', 'The Nick Pope Story', 'The Cat', and 'Scream World', spanning genres from thrillers to animated comedies.

DeRosa-Grund, renowned for his work on 'The Conjuring' franchise, highlights that their Hybrid Generative AI (HyGenAI) model is intended to empower creatives rather than replace them.

The partnership aims to transform filmmaking by merging human creativity with AI, potentially cutting production costs and time by up to 75%, while simultaneously improving the quality of films.

Gurdeep Pall, a former Microsoft VP and AI leader, co-founded Intelliflicks, which is already in the process of producing its first feature, 'Maharaja in Denims', as a proof of concept for its AI-driven model.
