The upcoming 10th edition of the Knowledge Summit, organized by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) in partnership with UNDP, is set to take place at the Dubai World Trade Center on November 19-20, 2025, during a high-level event at the UN Headquarters in New York.

This summit will feature over 45 dialogue sessions with around 130 speakers, including government officials, experts, and leaders from business, academia, and development sectors, complemented by interactive side events such as the Authors’ Corner, Knowledge Markets Exhibition, and Knowledge Café.

A key highlight of the event will be the launch of the 2025 Global Knowledge Index, a vital tool that offers insights into global knowledge economy trends to support evidence-based policymaking.

Celebrating its tenth anniversary, the summit will focus on 'Knowledge Markets' as catalysts for economic growth, inclusion, and empowerment, emphasizing international best practices and the importance of partnerships in developing knowledge ecosystems.

The event aims to foster global dialogue on creating fair and effective knowledge markets that can support resilient economies capable of adapting to rapid technological and societal changes.

Discussions will also explore the potential of modern technologies like AI, blockchain, and big data in addressing global challenges, along with topics on legislation, social transformation, intellectual property, education, research, and innovation.

UNDP underscores that knowledge is essential for building just, inclusive, and sustainable economies, and the partnership with MBRF seeks to turn knowledge into a catalyst for inclusive development.

The summit’s organization aligns with global shifts in technology, economy, and society, reinforcing the importance of international dialogue, experience exchange, and cross-border partnerships to shape the future of knowledge.
