The Travelers Championship 2025, taking place in Cromwell, Connecticut, is the final Signature Event of the PGA Tour season, occurring just one week after the U.S. Open.

This year's tournament will showcase the world's top two golfers, Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy, competing together for the first time since the Arnold Palmer Invitational in March.

Both McIlroy, ranked No. 2, and Scheffler, ranked No. 1, faced challenges at the recent U.S. Open at Oakmont but successfully made the cut.

Scottie Scheffler, the defending champion of the Travelers Championship, won the 2024 event in a playoff against Tom Kim, which was notably interrupted by a climate protest incident.

In a unique format, the Travelers Championship features a full field of 72 players without a 36-hole cut, allowing all competitors to play a complete 72 holes.
