The top six players in the Ryder Cup points standings after the BMW Championship on August 17 will automatically qualify for the team, with Bradley also having the authority to choose six additional players.

Currently, the top three players in points are Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, and J.J. Spaun, with Bradley and others closely pursuing qualification.

Keegan Bradley has been appointed as the U.S. team captain for the 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black, making him the youngest American captain since Arnold Palmer in 1963.

Initially planning to focus solely on his captaincy, Bradley now feels more confident about the possibility of playing due to his recent performance.

His recent success in tournaments has led him to consider the role of a playing captain, a position he had not previously contemplated.

Bradley remarked, 'This changes the story a little bit,' indicating that his recent victory opens the door for him to potentially play in the Ryder Cup.
