Entering the final round tied at 8 under, Jimenez and Steven Alker both shot 2-under 68, finishing two shots ahead of Stewart Cink.

Jimenez forced a playoff against Alker after being two strokes down, making crucial birdie putts on the par-4 17th and 18th holes.

In the playoff, both players parred the first hole, leading to a second extra hole where Jimenez secured victory with a 20-foot birdie putt.

Stewart Cink, who finished third at 8-under par, expressed his enjoyment of competing on the PGA Tour Champions, despite noting it doesn't feel like a regular major.

Alker, who finished second, acknowledged his missed opportunities during the final round but praised Jimenez's strong finish.

Jimenez's successful season also includes wins at the Trophy Hassan II in February, the Hoag Classic in March, and the Principal Charity Classic just three weeks prior.
