Weston Museum is set to host an exhibition featuring illustrations from Sir Terry Pratchett's beloved Discworld series, opening on May 24, 2025, and running until August 30, 2025.

Kidby's long-standing partnership with Pratchett has resulted in a rich visual representation of the Discworld universe, which consists of 41 novels published between 1983 and 2015.

Sir Terry Pratchett, who passed away in 2015, spent much of his life in Somerset and the South West of England, where he drew inspiration for his writing.

Over his prolific 44-year career, Pratchett authored a total of 70 books and died at the age of 66 due to natural causes related to Alzheimer's disease.

In 2017, Kidby created a bronze memorial bust of Pratchett, further honoring the author's enduring legacy and impact on literature.

The Discworld series is renowned for its unique flat planet setting, which has captivated readers and inspired a dedicated fanbase.

Beyond Discworld, Kidby has illustrated works for Pratchett's daughter, Rhianna, showcasing his versatility as an artist.

Victoria Haddock, an assistant at South West Heritage, expressed enthusiasm about the exhibition's potential to engage audiences on social media.
