Ajinomoto Invests PHP 9.1 Billion in New Tarlac Factory to Boost Philippine Food Innovation

Ajinomoto is investing approximately PHP 9.1 billion to build a new factory in Tarlac, Central Luzon, with operations expected to start by April 2028, as part of its strategic growth in Asia's food innovation sector.
The new factory, located in TARI Estate under Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates, will produce flavored seasonings, cooking sauces, and breading mixes such as AJI-GINISA, Crispy Fry, and Sarsaya to meet the growing market demand in the Philippines.
Construction is scheduled to begin in May 2026, with the factory designed to support business growth, enhance automation and digital transformation, and improve logistics and labor productivity.
This project aligns with Ajinomoto’s 2030 Roadmap to strengthen its regional portfolio and deliver safe, high-quality products sustainably, supporting the Philippines' economic growth driven by population increase and infrastructure investments.
