Israeli warplanes conducted airstrikes on Hezbollah locations in eastern Lebanon's Bekaa Valley as retaliation for a downed Israeli drone.

The targeted sites were in Janta and Sifri, with the strikes causing no reported casualties.

The continuing skirmishes between Israel and Hezbollah have resulted in at least 359 deaths and displacement of thousands in Lebanon and Israel.

There is a growing concern for the potential of a full-scale conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.

Attempts at diplomatic resolutions and ceasefires have not yet achieved success.
