The forum, taking place from May 19 to May 22, 2025, is designed to accelerate the UAE's manufacturing ambitions.

The partnership will also enhance the production of Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG), which are essential components for drilling and completing oil and gas wells.

Under this agreement, ADNOC has secured perpetual and exclusive rights to utilize Tubacex’s Sentinel Prime premium tubular joint connection technology, which is vital for oil and gas well completion.

This collaboration aligns with the UAE's vision to enhance local content in the energy sector, promote economic diversification, and create sustainable high-value jobs for Emiratis.

The partnership also aims to strengthen ADNOC's supply chain resilience and reduce dependence on external markets.

By improving supply chain resilience and reducing costs, this partnership is expected to significantly benefit ADNOC.

Josu Imaz, CEO of Tubacex Group, emphasized that this licensing arrangement reflects Tubacex's commitment to innovation in the energy sector.

Musabbeh Al Kaabi, ADNOC's Upstream CEO, noted that this partnership is crucial for securing access to advanced technology and reinforcing ADNOC's status as a reliable energy provider.

ADNOC and Tubacex have entered into a strategic partnership aimed at localizing critical oilfield technology in the UAE, a move announced during the 'Make it in the Emirates' forum in Abu Dhabi.

In addition to the Tubacex partnership, ADNOC announced agreements with US energy majors that could potentially enable $60 billion in investments in UAE energy projects.

As part of the agreement, Tubacex will establish a dedicated research and development center in Abu Dhabi, focusing on advanced engineering and training local technicians.
