Abu Dhabi has launched the region's first fully digital property transaction platform, called the Digital Buy & Sell Journey, announced by the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Center (ADREC).

This innovative platform positions Abu Dhabi as a regional leader in digital governance and real estate technology, setting new standards for secure, seamless, and accessible property transactions.

The platform offers both virtual and in-person options for various transaction steps, enhancing flexibility, operational efficiency, and user experience, while reducing costs.

It integrates with the UAE Pass and TAMM platform, enabling secure digital signatures, remote document signing, video-enabled trustee participation, and managed escrow accounts to ensure legal and financial security.

The service facilitates seamless online transactions, including mortgage processing, trustee verification, digital signing, and escrow settlements, making the entire process borderless and efficient.

Buyers and sellers can complete all property transactions online—such as registering mortgages, verifying trustees, signing contracts digitally, and settling escrow accounts—without physical paperwork or in-person visits.

This initiative supports ADREC’s broader strategy to unify and modernize Abu Dhabi’s real estate sector, increasing transparency, efficiency, and attracting international interest.

The platform aligns with Abu Dhabi’s goal to become an AI-enabled government by 2027, emphasizing the broader digital transformation and technological innovation in public services.

Engineer Rashed Al Omaira, Acting Director General of ADREC, highlighted that this initiative enhances efficiency, security, and transparency in real estate through advanced technology, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s leadership in digital governance.
