The Texas Rangers, who claimed the World Series title in 2023, find themselves in fourth place in the AL West with a 33-36 record, despite a strong starting rotation and having recently won four out of their last five games.

The Atlanta Braves are struggling with a disappointing 29-38 record, falling short of expectations for a team that was projected to contend for the NL pennant, and they are closer to the bottom of the NL East than a wild card position.

With the MLB trade deadline approaching on July 31, 2025, at 6 p.m. ET, all three teams are likely looking to make strategic trades to enhance their playoff prospects.
