Atlanta United has utilized MLS Short-Term Agreements, which allow players 25 or younger from affiliate teams to be signed for up to four days each season, with a total cap of 16 days, to bolster their squad.

Among the recent additions is Sal Mazzaferro, a 24-year-old defender from Canada, who made his first-team debut during the Leagues Cup in August and has appeared three times under these short-term agreements in 2025.

The roster features a diverse mix of nationalities and career paths, including Mazzaferro from Canada, Neri from the U.S., Spain, and Venezuela, Torres from the U.S., and Liberia's Weah.

Adyn Torres, a 17-year-old midfielder, has become a trailblazer in Atlanta United's development system, being the first player to advance through every level of the club’s pathway, currently on a season-long loan with ATL UTD 2.

On October 11, 2025, Atlanta United announced the signing of four players—Sal Mazzaferro, Rodrigo Neri, Patrick Weah, and Adyn Torres—to Short-Term Agreements ahead of their match against Inter Miami CF.

Patrick Weah, a 21-year-old forward, led ATL UTD 2 with nine goals in 2025 and has also made his MLS debut with Minnesota United.
