Sacramento Kings guard Malik Monk is sidelined for at least four weeks due to a sprained MCL in his right knee.

Guard Kevin Huerter is also likely out for the rest of the season with a left shoulder injury, which requires surgery.

Monk's absence is a blow to the Kings as he's a top contender for the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year and leads bench players in points and assists.

The Kings are striving to secure a top-six position in the Western Conference to bypass the play-in tournament, which commences on April 16.
