Overwatch Classic is making a comeback in Overwatch 2, allowing fans to experience the original gameplay styles of their favorite heroes.

This mode will feature the original ability kits of heroes, including the DPS version of Doomfist and other early post-launch characters.

Players can look forward to using Doomfist's original Rising Uppercut ability and Orisa's bunker shield, providing a nostalgic gameplay experience.

The first round of Overwatch Classic ran from November to early December 2024, offering a limited-time chance to enjoy the original game's 6v6 format and hero roster.

The second wave of Overwatch Classic is set to begin on February 4, 2025, and will last for approximately 2-3 weeks, with plans for a potential third wave to introduce more heroes.

Currently, Overwatch 2 is in its 14th season, which has introduced a new Tank hero named Hazard, while Season 15 is expected to start in mid-to-late February 2025.

Season 15 will not introduce a new hero but will bring new content, including a battle pass and possibly new maps and modes.

Doomfist was originally a DPS hero when he joined Overwatch in 2017 but was transitioned to a tank role in Overwatch 2, resulting in significant changes to his abilities.
