This hotfix prevents Doomfist from canceling his Seismic Slam and Rising Uppercut with Rocket Punch or Meteor Strike, maintaining the integrity of his original design.

Key adjustments in the hotfix include changes to the ground checks and shockwave hitbox for Seismic Slam, as well as the air time for Rising Uppercut.

These updates are part of Overwatch 2's Rapid Balance Update technology, which allows for quick fixes and balance adjustments, especially during limited-time events.

Looking ahead, an Overwatch 2 Spotlight event is scheduled for February 12, 2025, where details about Season 15, including new heroes, maps, and changes to PvP, will be revealed.

Overwatch: Classic, a limited-time mode that revives gameplay from September 2017, returned on February 4, 2025, featuring a meta dominated by Mercy after the addition of heroes like Ana, Sombra, and Doomfist.

On February 6, 2025, Overwatch 2 released a hotfix that enhanced Mercy's abilities in Overwatch: Classic, specifically boosting her Guardian Angel and Resurrect.

The update increased the speed and range of Mercy's Guardian Angel during her Valkyrie ultimate, while also making her Resurrect cast time instantaneous.

Despite these buffs, Mercy's 'Superjump' maneuver remains unavailable due to a bug from the original Overwatch.

The following day, February 7, 2025, another hotfix was implemented for Overwatch: Classic, restoring Doomfist's abilities to their original 2017 values.
