Dr. Mohan is set to receive a prestigious award from the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) during their 61st Annual Meeting in Vienna, Austria, in September 2025.

The award committee's unanimous decision reflects Dr. Mohan's extensive work, which includes groundbreaking research, grassroots outreach, public health advocacy, and the training of new diabetes care professionals.

He serves as the Chairman of Dr. Mohan’s Diabetes Specialities Centre and the Madras Diabetes Research Foundation, where he has set new standards in diabetes care.
