SpaceX plans a $100 billion Starship launch site on Pecan Island, Louisiana, expanding operations for the Starship vehicle across about 125,000 acres.

The Starbase Louisiana project includes five launch complexes with two pads each, a propellant facility, power generation, vehicle processing areas, and on-site housing, with production eyed to begin in 2027 and the first launch in 2029.
