2Gether-International (2GI) has successfully completed its 2025 Health Innovation Cohort, which focuses on supporting start-ups founded by entrepreneurs with disabilities.
The cohort featured ten innovative start-ups, each receiving $10,000 in seed funding to help scale their ventures over a 10-week program.
These start-ups aimed to address significant gaps in healthcare access and outcomes that disproportionately impact individuals with disabilities, utilizing the founders' personal experiences to craft effective solutions.
2GI's mission is to promote disability as a competitive advantage and foster inclusive entrepreneurship, with backing from corporate partners such as Comcast NBCUniversal and JPMorgan Chase.
Since its inception, 2GI has supported over 700 startups, raising more than $84 million in investments, revenue, and acquisitions.
The pitch competition, held on June 6, 2025, was judged by notable alumni and board members, including Eric Ingram, Heather Lawver, Nate Andorsky, and Vincent Randazoo.
Deaftronics, a company producing solar-powered hearing aids in Africa, emerged as the winner of the pitch competition, receiving an additional $10,000 in funding.
XR Navigation, which creates digital maps for blind users, also received recognition by winning the Audience Award and a prize of $1,000.
Other notable participants included start-ups like Neunetix, SDRG, Peachy Day, EntreVita AI, Grean, Tarkka Design, HapWare, and CompleteVision, each contributing unique health-related technologies and services.
