Ghent-based start-up Bizzy has successfully secured €4 million in funding, led by Fortino Capital, to enhance its AI Sales Agent and expand its reach across Europe.

This funding will facilitate the integration of Bizzy's platform with CRM tools and support its expansion in the European market, positioning the company as a significant player in business intelligence.

The investment will also be directed towards developing an AI-driven sales assistant designed to streamline the sales process for professionals.

Founded in 2021 by Hendrik Keeris and Steve Declercq, Bizzy's platform automates lead generation, allowing sales teams to focus on building relationships rather than manual prospecting.

Currently, Bizzy serves over 500 paying customers and has more than 10,000 active sales professionals using its platform each month, primarily in Belgium, France, and the Netherlands.

Despite employing 35 staff members and generating €2.5 million in recurring revenue, Bizzy has not yet reached cash flow break-even.

The AI Sales Agent enhances both inbound and outbound lead qualifications and enrichments, utilizing contextual intelligence to refine sales strategies.

Bizzy's platform aggregates and analyzes data from over 34 million European businesses and 76 million contacts, significantly improving users' ability to identify potential clients.

Keeris emphasizes the importance of automating the lead generation process to empower sales professionals, enabling them to secure reliable meetings and boost productivity.

The funding round attracted participation from notable Belgian investors, including founders from Silverfin, Lighthouse, Teamleader, and Henchman, along with existing investor Pitchdrive.

The new AI sales agent will automate preparatory tasks for sales staff, providing tailored recommendations based on prospect analysis and user interaction.

Prior to this funding round, Bizzy raised €1.1 million in an earlier seed funding round, demonstrating a strong interest in its innovative approach.
