The funding round was led by Coinvest Capital with €300,000, alongside investments from BSV Ventures, LitBAN, and EstBAN, supporting BrachyDOSE's efforts to achieve CE and MDR certifications for broader market access.

CEO Neringa Šeperienė, an expert in medical physics and materials engineering, emphasizes applying the company's technology to improve hospital workflows and patient outcomes, with plans to expand sales efforts.

While Lithuania's strong medical research infrastructure provides a solid foundation, BrachyDOSE's versatile technology has the potential for global impact in oncology hospitals worldwide.

Achieving CE and MDR certifications will enable BrachyDOSE to offer its device both in Lithuania and internationally, addressing a critical gap in precision radiotherapy treatment.

The company's integrated hardware and software solution, including sensors, scanners, and an injury prediction algorithm, aims to help doctors prevent treatment-caused injuries, potentially reducing injuries by up to 100%.

Investors see the technology's potential to significantly reduce radiotherapy side effects by enabling more accurate dose delivery, marking a breakthrough for patient care and clinical practice.

The technology also seeks to make radiotherapy more efficient, lower hospital costs, and facilitate faster patient recovery, with existing collaborations at Lithuanian cancer treatment centers.
