NIC Karachi Launches Cohort 14, Boosting Startups with Grants, Cloud Credits, and Global Mentorship

Recently, NIC Karachi launched Cohort 14, offering startups grants of up to Rs. 5 million, along with $25,000 in Google Cloud credits and $10,000 in AWS credits to support their growth.
NIC Karachi's efforts have helped fund Rs. 12 billion and support more than 376 startups, with the overarching goal of making Pakistan more innovative and entrepreneurial.
The National Incubation Center (NIC) Karachi has played a pivotal role in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in Pakistan, contributing to over 1 million jobs, Rs. 10 billion in revenue, Rs. 12 billion in investments, and incubating 376 startups across various sectors.
Startups in Cohort 14 will also benefit from access to specialized labs, free legal and financial consultancy, and acceleration programs, including mentorship and international exposure.
This cohort targets startups in sectors such as Cybersecurity, Healthtech, Fintech, Industrial Automation, and Women-led enterprises, aiming to transform industries and promote high-growth businesses.
NIC's programs have produced notable alumni like Bykea, Ticket Wala, Bioniks, and Zee.Sy Jewellery, which have demonstrated success by creating jobs, attracting investments, and developing sustainable business models.
These alumni exemplify NIC Karachi’s impact in reshaping industries and fostering sustainable growth through innovative startups.
Participants will gain global mentorship, investor access, international exposure, and acceleration services through Orbit Startups, alongside access to advanced labs in Fintech, Industrial Automation, and Media.
