Chinese tech company Insta360 has launched two 360-degree cameras, Insta360 X2, into space.
The cameras have been modified to withstand extreme temperatures, radiation, and vibrations.
This marks the first time 360-degree action cameras have been sent into space.
High-definition images of Earth, stars, and the Milky Way have been captured.
The project was a collaboration with Media Storm and SAR satellite company Spacety.
The cameras will orbit the Earth for two years before being burned into space.
The satellite carrying the cameras is expected to remain operational until 2026.
