The European Commission exempts iMessage, Bing, Edge, and Microsoft Advertising from being classified as gatekeeper services under the Digital Markets Act.

Apple plans to adopt the RCS standard by 2024 and will open iOS 17.4 to third-party developers in early March in response to new legislative requirements.
