On February 19, Beau Lamarre-Condon, a police officer, allegedly committed premeditated murder of Jesse Baird and Luke Davies using his police-issued Glock at their home in Paddington.

Post-murder, Lamarre-Condon is accused of trying to cover up the crime by deleting messages, impersonating one of the victims via text, cleaning the scene, and disposing of bloodied items.

The suspect concealed the bodies in surfboard bags and transported them to a rural property in Bungonia, 200km from Sydney, where he later led detectives to after seeking legal advice.

Lamarre-Condon has been charged with two counts of murder and suspended without pay from the police force.

Investigation techniques included analyzing blood-stained items found in a skip bin, searching various properties, and using CCTV to trace the accused's movements.

The accused made 'partial admissions' about the crime to acquaintances, suggesting a breach in gun safety protocols within the NSW Police Force, now under review.
