Donna Langley, NBCUniversal’s chief content officer and studios chairwoman, has led the studio to critical and commercial success.

Langley's leadership saw the triumph of 'Oppenheimer,' a three-hour period drama, at the Oscars, winning seven awards including best director and best picture.

Under Langley's guidance, Universal claimed the top spot at the 2023 worldwide box office, surpassing Disney for the first time in eight years.

She also manages Focus Features, which released 'The Holdovers,' securing an Oscar for Da’Vine Joy Randolph as supporting actress.

Universal's box office dominance was achieved with a diverse slate of films, notably without superhero movies, led by 'The Super Mario Bros. Movie.'
