Shamima Begum, known as the 'ISIS Bride', has faced another defeat in court, failing to reverse the revocation of her British citizenship.

The Court of Appeal upheld the 2019 decision to strip her citizenship, citing national security concerns.

Begum left the UK at age 15 to join ISIS and has been detained in a Syrian camp since her capture.

Her legal team insists on pursuing justice, planning to potentially escalate the matter to the Supreme Court.

In her appeal, Begum argued she was not considered as a potential trafficking victim and has shown remorse for her actions.

Women's rights advocate Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamimu has criticized the government's approach to Begum's case as hypocritical.
