Authorities have ramped up efforts to locate former RAF terrorists Ernst-Volker Staub and Burkhard Garweg following the discovery of evidence linking Staub to accomplice Daniela Klette.

Investigations reveal Burkhard Garweg had a close association with Klette and both lived in Berlin.

The Lower Saxony State Criminal Police Office, with assistance from the Federal Criminal Police Office, has issued new wanted posters and is processing over 760 tips received.

A reward of at least 150,000 euros is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of Staub, Garweg, and Klette.

Daniela Klette is currently detained, facing criticism over her jail conditions, while the hunt for Staub and Garweg expands internationally.

The public is advised to exercise caution and avoid direct contact with the fugitives, who may be armed, and to report any sightings to the Niedersachsen State Criminal Police.
