The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has expressed confidence in the ongoing preparations for the Brisbane 2032 Olympics.

Concerns have arisen due to possible delays in finalizing the venue plan and uncertainties surrounding a potential change in government in Queensland.

The Queensland opposition has proposed creating an independent infrastructure authority to oversee projects, with findings to be reported by February 2025.

Despite these issues, the IOC maintains that there is sufficient time to complete the necessary facilities for the Brisbane Games.

The IOC currently has no plans to intervene, preferring to observe the progress of the preparations before considering any action.
