The West Midlands community is grieving the tragic murder of 10-year-old Shay Kang.

A 33-year-old woman with a connection to Shay has been arrested on suspicion of her murder.

Shay Kang was a familiar face in the neighborhood, often playing with other children and was a student at Brickhouse Primary School.

The investigation is currently focused on the arrested woman, with no other suspects being sought.

Local residents are paying homage to Shay with tributes and toys left near her residence.
