Australian national boxing coach Jamie Pittman has withdrawn from the 2024 Paris Olympics due to admitted sexual misconduct.

Pittman's behavior included 11 offenses over three trips and was deemed 'shocking' and 'inappropriate' by the National Sports Tribunal.

The tribunal has issued a six-month suspension and mandated written apologies and a training course on respectful conduct.

Pittman has apologized to the affected athletes and has sought assistance to change his behavior.

He has also stepped down from the Australian Olympic Committee's Indigenous Advisory Committee.

Pittman acknowledges the risk of losing his job due to the tribunal's findings.
