Nicholas Galitzine has been officially announced as the actor to play He-Man in the live-action adaptation of Masters of the Universe.

The film is scheduled for release on June 5, 2026.

Directed by Travis Knight and written by Chris Butler, the story follows Prince Adam's journey on Earth to retrieve his Power Sword to defend Eternia from Skeletor.

The project is a collaboration between Amazon, MGM, and Mattel Films and has been in development for over two decades.

It is one of 15 live-action films currently in production at Mattel Films.
