Netflix's hit series The Sandman has announced eight new cast members for Season 2.

New cast members include Ruairi O'Connor, Clive Russell, Ann Skelly, Douglas Booth, Jack Gleeson, Indya Moore, and Steve Coogan.

The show, based on Neil Gaiman's DC graphic novels, was renewed for a second season.

Production started in June 2023 but was temporarily halted due to strikes.

Despite the delay, the series has been a massive success for Netflix, breaking records in its first week.

The Sandman Season 2 is currently in production with no release date announced yet.

Season 2 promises to delve deeper into the Sandman universe and introduce new characters like Orpheus, Wanda, Nuala, Cluracan, Puck, and Barnabas.

The new season features a star-studded lineup including Laurence O'Fuarain as Thor and Freddie Fox as Loki.
