The Grateful Dead will be honored as MusiCares' 2025 Persons of the Year during the gala, which will include a posthumous tribute to founding members Jerry Garcia and Phil Lesh.

This award recognizes the band's significant musical contributions as well as their philanthropic efforts and activism.

Andy Cohen, a well-known fan of the Grateful Dead, will serve as the emcee for the event, which will also feature Bruce Hornsby.

FireAid is an upcoming benefit concert featuring a star-studded lineup, including Sting, Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, aimed at supporting wildfire relief efforts in the Los Angeles area.

The concert will take place at two venues, the Intuit Dome and Kia Forum, starting at 6 p.m. PT on January 31, 2025.

In response to the devastating wildfires that have resulted in 27 fatalities and destroyed over 12,000 structures, celebrities and organizations have pledged millions for relief, including a $2.5 million donation from Beyoncé's BeyGOOD foundation.

The Recording Academy and MusiCares have also launched a relief effort, contributing $1 million and distributing $2 million in emergency aid thus far.

The concert is produced by the Azoff family, Shelli, and Irving, in partnership with Live Nation and AEG Presents, with Joel Gallen as the executive producer.

Performers at the Kia Forum will include No Doubt, Pink, Alanis Morissette, Green Day, and Joni Mitchell, among others.

No Doubt will reunite for this event, marking their first performance together in a decade.

Tickets for the concert will go on sale starting January 22, 2025, at noon PT via Ticketmaster, with further details about the lineup to be revealed.
