EY & Microsoft Launch Global AI Training to Empower 40,000+ Indian Professionals with Essential Skills
October 12, 2025
EY has successfully launched a global online AI training program, enrolling over 40,000 participants with 13,000 completing it, aiming to boost AI readiness among Indian professionals, as only 31% currently feel well-prepared to use AI tools.
The program offers approximately 10 hours of content in English and Hindi, including modular videos, practical exercises, assessments, and career guidance modules such as CV building and interview preparation, all designed for flexible learning.
The curriculum covers AI fundamentals, responsible AI practices, and industry-specific applications in healthcare, finance, and technology, supplemented with real-world case studies and hands-on exercises.
Participants who complete the program receive a digital badge to enhance their employability, along with additional career support like résumé building, interview prep, and networking strategies.
This initiative is part of a collaboration between EY and Microsoft to launch the free AI Skills Passport, targeting young Indians aged 16 and above, to develop essential AI skills and meet India's urgent demand for AI talent.
As part of EY Ripples, the program also aims to extend mentorship and career guidance to youth from economically weaker backgrounds through partnerships with non-profit organizations, supporting sustainable career development.
The program's global launch earlier this year reflects a strategic effort to build future-ready workforces and promote inclusive access to AI education across diverse communities.
