Liam Stark, a 14-year-old boy from Moriches, went missing after leaving William Floyd High School around 7:10 a.m. on October 17, 2025, and was last seen entering a Dunkin’ on Mastic Road in Mastic Beach.

He was last seen leaving the school, then went to a nearby Dunkin’ about three minutes away, and was reported missing at 2:30 p.m. after not returning home or getting off his school bus.

Liam was dropped off at school by his older brother but never entered the building; he was seen on school cameras contemplating whether to go inside before walking away tearfully.

He is described as a white male, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 155 pounds, with blonde hair and brown eyes, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, navy blue sweatpants, and black sneakers at the time of disappearance.

Liam may have been carrying a black drawstring backpack and a blue sweatshirt with 'Navy' printed on it.

At the time of his disappearance, Liam was wearing a black hoodie, dark blue sweatpants, and black sneakers.

Suffolk County Police are actively investigating and urge anyone with information to contact 911 or the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752.

Community efforts, including flyer distribution and neighborhood patrols organized by Christy Lynn, highlight Liam's vulnerability due to the cold weather, lack of a phone, and limited money.

His mother, Christy Lynn, has been searching neighborhoods, reviewing security footage, and asking residents about the possibility of Liam boarding a train at the nearby Mastic train station.

His mother expressed deep concern and love for Liam, noting he has been processing trauma, which may have contributed to his decision to leave.

Liam was reportedly spotted walking east on Northern Boulevard toward William Floyd Parkway around 11 a.m. on October 18, but this sighting has not been confirmed.

Liam was last seen contemplating whether to go inside the school before walking away tearfully, and he was dropped off by his older brother.
