At Relativity Fest 2025, the company announced that its generative AI solutions, aiR for Review and aiR for Privilege, will become standard features in its RelativityOne cloud platform, making advanced AI accessible to all users to streamline legal review processes.

Relativity is launching Rel Labs, an innovation hub and investment initiative designed to accelerate the development of new legal technology solutions and expand the platform’s capabilities across diverse use cases, with a focus on making it more scalable and adaptable.

The company revealed updates to its product roadmap, including new validation features for AI, enhanced data collection, and AI-powered tools for contract review and breach response, all aimed at making RelativityOne a comprehensive legal data intelligence platform.

Relativity’s CEO emphasized that generative AI is becoming a foundational technology for legal document review, with the goal of setting a new industry standard and transforming legal workflows through advanced AI integration.

Relativity previewed aiR Assist, a natural language search tool scheduled for early 2026, designed to drastically reduce discovery times from weeks to minutes, and plans to include it as a standard feature in RelativityOne.

Since its launch a year ago, aiR for Review and Privilege have been used to review over 25 million documents, with customers reporting significant reductions in review time and costs, exemplified by Purpose Legal’s rapid review of 300,000 documents in one week.

Relativity Fest 2025, held in Chicago, brought together over 2,000 legal and technology professionals to explore innovations like generative AI and legal data solutions, highlighting the company’s leadership in legal tech advancements.
