Teddy Swims Earns Second Grammy Nod as 'Lose Control' Hits Diamond Status, Breaks Billboard Records
November 24, 2025
Teddy Swims earns a second Grammy nomination in the Best Pop Vocal Album category for I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 2).
The Diamond milestone aligns with Swims’s 68th Annual Grammy nomination and his status as a two-time Grammy nominee.
Meanwhile, his single “Lose Control” set records on the Billboard Hot 100, spending 112 weeks on the chart before departing after a October rule change reduced how long songs can stay when below a certain rank.
He’s slated to perform at Coachella and Stagecoach next year and recently released a collaboration with David Guetta and Tones And I, titled “Gone Gone Gone,” which quickly gained radio traction.
Swims wrapped his I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy World Tour and plans a December Kegmas charity event in Atlanta, returning home for the Diamond milestone celebration.
His track “Lose Control” has achieved Diamond status, marking it as the 200th song in U.S. history to reach ten million certified units.
Following Part 2’s January release, Swims embarked on a major international tour, including sold-out arenas and recent shows in Australia, Japan, South Korea and Singapore.
He released a collaborative single with David Guetta and Tones And I, “Gone Gone Gone,” which debuted as a top-added track at Top 40 and Hot AC and is climbing the charts.
In 2024, “Lose Control” topped the Billboard Hot 100 and multiple airplay charts, setting records for the longest Hot 100 run and the longest-running Top 10, with near 5 billion streams globally.
Swims previously earned a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist at the 67th Grammys and performed “Lose Control” at that ceremony.
He performed at the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on November 8, 2025.
